I've been a product designer for over 30 years.
It's been an exciting career that's seen me work on a wide variety of projects: cosmetics, jewellery, furniture, toys, telephony, medical products and even racing cars. It's been a wonderful story of encounters, transmission and passion. Hours spent behind the drawing board, then the computer, but also a lot of time in the workshop building, checking, testing... Researching, innovating and exploring materials: wood, polymers, metal, textiles...
But since I was a teenager, the guitar has never been far away. Building your dreams is always better than waiting for them to come true, so I decided it was time to consider a new adventure to share with you: creating a brand of guitars from scratch. So, Berlinetta is there.
So you're going to say, just another brand of guitars!
Yes... and no. Because Berlinetta will never build you the Telecaster of your dreams or a custom White Falcon. Thousands of luthiers all over the world do that perfectly.
Berlinetta's ambition is to build a bridge between car culture and amplified guitar culture. Because there are so many similarities between these two worlds. Whether it's the technical constraints, the materials used, the importance of creating eye-catching lines... And the ability to produce sounds that transport you... Quickly, very quickly... Sound Of Speed.
The Berlinetta guitars are therefore, for each model, a pretext for paying tribute to a car that has left its mark on motoring culture. An interpretation full of personality, a strong character, a magnetic emotional power capable of drawing you into your musical creations. And, of course, impeccable build quality and sound, worthy of the great luxury car divas.
